Walker Clinic hosts PROMPT Training In St. Louis

The Walker Scottish Rite Clinic at Maryville University hosted a PROMPT Institute training in St. Louis, May 16 – 17, 2026. Speech-language pathologists (SLP) attended this training to learn the PROMPT techniques for children with severe communication disorders. PROMPT’s multidimensional therapy approach integrates physical-sensory, cognitive-linguistic, and social-emotional aspects to develop motor skills for effective communication. Thanks to training from the PROMPT Institute, and setup by Maryville University’s events and facilities, the SLPs who attended are now energized with new techniques and are eager to work with children who need these supports!
