Clinic Services

The Walker Scottish Rite Clinic at Maryville University is a non-profit 501(c) (3) charity organization. The Clinic has been a valuable resource for parents of children with speech and language disorders since 1988. The Clinic serves children at these clinical locations;

St. Louis City-SouthSide Early Childhood Center (Spanish services)

West St. Louis County-Maryville University (headquarters)

North St. Louis County-North County Center YWCA-Head Start

Arnold, MO-Jefferson County Health Department

Troy, MO-Lincoln County Health Department

Union, MO-Crider Health Center of Franklin County

Each child is served by a Masters-level speech and language pathologist who is certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), licensed by the Missouri State Board of Healing Arts, and trained in the Hanen Centre’s “It Takes Two to Talk. ” Therapy sessions are tailored to each child’s particular needs. Services include screenings, evaluations, individual and group therapy, audiological evaluations, and parent training.
